OUR PARISH
St.Mary’s Indian Orthodox Congregation, King’s is God’s beautiful plan for King’sLynn and its surrounding community. Earlier days,to attend orthodox holy Qurbana , our church members used to travel around 50 miles. In July 2009, at its humble beginning, the congregation conducted a prayer meeting at Mr.Shaj K Ninan’s house.
Thereafter our parish got Rev. Fr. Mathew Abraham as its Vicar. Our Ist holy Qurbana was celebrated on 4th October 2009 at Holy Trinity Church, King’s Lynn by the Vicar. Following the diocese Metropolitan’s visit in December 2009 , H.G. Dr.Mathews Mar Thimothios declared our parish as a congregation of UK Europe and Africa diocese of Malankara Orthodox Church. And today we are happy to announce that our congregation is raised to a Church by our beloved Thirumeni.
